A Bette Davis Group of ID/Charge Cards, Circa 1980s. Four total, all with the star's name (though one is spelled "Betty"), from the Magic Castle (a special "Life Member" gold-metal card), the Automobile Club of Southern California, Pan Am, and MCI; included with a signed 'letter of provenance' from Kathryn Sermak, Davis' longtime personal assistant.
    2" x 3 1/4"

Kathryn Sermak relays information about the pieces in this lot:
"Miss D adored going to The Magic Castle with friends. She loved trying to figure out the tricks. My first time going there was with her and Robert Osborne who later became the beloved host of the TCM cable channel. We had so much fun and Miss D sang a song at the "mystery piano" that's still on display there. The people loved it and that's when The Magic Castle made her a lifetime member of their exclusive club. Pam Am, which no longer exists, was one of the great airlines we traveled on. Miss D always loved the big seats and the upstairs cocktail lounge that only first class passengers were privy to. The MCI card was used for international calling and Miss D always traveled with it. She felt independent using it, plus the charges wouldn't be put on a bill for all to see."

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
