DeForest Kelly "Dr. McCoy" 3rd season tunic and pants from Star Trek: The Original Series. (Paramount TV, 1966-1969) Vintage original Starfleet tunic. Constructed of blue polyfiber with original rank braiding on the cuffs and gold foil and black thread insignia patch on left breast. Featuring original black, cross-woven elastic standing collar retaining its original hook and eye closures over a hidden zipper (missing the pull tab). Along the interior of the zipper is handwritten in white ink, "Kelley #1". Also includes a pair of vintage original black and gold-flecked linen Original Series Starfleet uniform pants with handwritten, "F. Kelly" on back of pocket. Also written in the waistband is "Size 32, P16". With zipper front closure and hook and eye tab waist. Unhemmed. Insignia on tunic exhibits slight deterioration of the gold finish; in vintage very good to fine production used condition. This represents the very first Original Series DeForest Kelly "Dr. McCoy" tunic we have ever handled.
