William Shatner "Captain Kirk" Season 2 Wraparound Starfleet Tunic with Pants from Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount TV, 1966-1969). Vintage original (2) piece ensemble including (1) "wraparound" tunic used in Season 2 episodes, constructed of olive green, double-knit wool with black waffle-weave trimmed flat v-collar. The left side of the garment overlaps the right and features an integral fabric self-belt that wraps around the back of the garment to affix to a Velcro pad at the front waist of the tunic. The tip of the self-belt is ornamented with a horizontally placed, metallic gold lamé and black thread-embroidered Starfleet Command insignia. The neckline is trimmed with gold piping. Each cuff is lined with metallic gold rank braids, and (1) pair of black Dacron with silver sparkle fabric pants featuring 2-front waist pockets and zipper and hook and eye front closures, handwritten on the interior waistband, "Clahan P19 Size 34" (pants are from TOS but were not worn by Shatner). Exhibiting expected age, production wear and use with two 1" seam separations in left shoulder and a few scattered moth holes. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
