Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) Signature Ensemble from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 1). Original (5) piece character ensemble including (1) red leather doublet with gold floral embroidery center front across chest, (1) top with leather sleeves on cotton body and ties down center front (with "Tyrion" bias label), (1) top with black cotton body and black leather quilted padded skirts, (1) brownish-gray linen sleeveless shirt with center front buttons and stand collar, (1) pair of black moleskin trousers with flap front, button fastens, and laced jigger at back, and (1) pair of black leather knee-high boots with straps (with "Peter Dinklage," and "Tyrion Lannister" handwritten inside). Tyrion Lannister's (Peter Dinklage) signature ensemble worn throughout Season 1. In Episode 1, "Winter is Coming," Tyrion has a meaningful exchange with Jon Snow (Kit Harington), advising Jon to embrace his identity as a bastard: "Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you." Peter Dinklage highlighted this scene's importance: "Tyrion's advice to Jon reflects his own experience and resilience. It's a moment that defines Tyrion's character early on." Costume designer Michele Clapton discussed Tyrion's signature doublet: "Tyrion's doublet is designed to be both practical and emblematic of his noble status. The rich fabrics and intricate details show his Lannister heritage, but the cut and style are practical, reflecting his pragmatic approach to life." She added: "We wanted Tyrion's clothing to mirror his journey - luxurious yet understated, powerful yet unassuming. His attire is a visual representation of his complex identity."
