Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) Signature Doublet from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 1). Original character piece featuring (1) red leather doublet with gold floral embroidery framing collar and lace-up closures center front (with "Tyrion" bias label). Tyrion Lannister's (Peter Dinklage) signature look throughout Season 1, the doublet is memorably seen in Season 1, Episode 5, "The Wolf and the Lion," when he defends Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) from the attacking Hill Tribes, despite the fact that she has taken him prisoner. Peter Dinklage remarked, "Tyrion's doublet in Season 1 is symbolic of his resilience and complexity. Even when he's a prisoner, he maintains a sense of dignity and cunning." Michele Clapton, the costume designer, explained, "We crafted Tyrion's doublet to reflect his sharp mind and noble birth. The rich fabrics and detailed embroidery serve as a reminder of his Lannister heritage, even in moments of vulnerability."
