Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) Group of (2) "Reek" Ensembles from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 5). Original group of (2) character ensembles each including (1) brown cotton shirt with gathered tie closure at the neck, rips, and heavy distressing throughout (both with "Theon" bias label), (1) dark black and brown canvas doublet with heavy distressing, long sleeves, and front tie closures (with "Theon" bias label), (1) pair of mottled brown trousers with lace-up front closure and rips (with "Theon" bias label), and (1) brown necktie. Worn by Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) throughout Season 5 while Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) continues to psychologically torture his pet, "Reek." Costume designer Michele Clapton remarked on the ensemble, stating, "The challenge was to create something that conveyed Theon's complete loss of identity. The clothes are intentionally distressing, meant to show how far he's fallen from his noble origins." Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss added, "Reek's costume was crucial in visually communicating his broken spirit. It's a stark contrast to the proud Greyjoy armor he once wore." Alfie Allen himself reflected, "Wearing Reek's wardrobe helped me embody the character's despair and submission. Every rip and stain tells part of his story."
