Theda Bara's Jewelry. Three pieces of Theda Bara's jewelry: necklaces and bracelets in Mediterranean shades of red, brown, and pale green. The red-beaded necklace decorated Theda in her famous performance as Cleopatra (1917). The strings have torn on the brown and pale green pieces but can be easily repaired. All part of the lovingly preserved costume finery of the screen's all-time Vamp Supreme. These pieces, as is the case with all the Theda Bara lots in this auction, were personally given by Theda to the consignor shortly before the star's death in 1955. In Fine condition. From the Joan Craig Costume Archive of Theda Bara. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Joan Craig.
