Description
The Blues Brothers (Universal, 1980), Cab Calloway "Curtis" Tuxedo Ensemble. Original (7) piece ensemble including (1) ivory silk tuxedo jacket with tails, (1) white dress shirt, (1) waistcoat, and (1) pair of matching pants with a silk stripe on the outer seams. Accessories included are (1) bowtie, (1) pair of gold-toned cufflinks, and (1) pair of suspenders. Pants include a bias label on inside of waistband, handwritten "C Calloway, W 41, L 30." The tuxedo was worn by American jazz singer Cab Calloway when he performed "Minnie the Moocher" in the action-comedy film. Displays general production wear and age. Obtained from Mrs. Cab Calloway.
