Description
Starfleet Crewman Tunic from Pilot Episode, "The Cage" of Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount TV, 1966-1969). Originally blue (now faded to lavender) vintage velour tunic with a ribbed black corded cotton short standing collar, left side hidden zipper closure with hook and eye collar fastens. Worn by a crewmember in the legendary first pilot episode of the classic Sci-Fi series (collar modified for subsequent use in the regular series). Retaining original gold lamé Starfleet Science insignia on the left chest. Exhibiting expected age, production wear, fading from exposure to light with seam separation in right shoulder and right sleeve. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
