Description

Star Trek Into Darkness (Paramount, 2013), Zachary Quinto "Spock" Production Made Volcano Suit Costume on Display. Original signature "Spock" (Zachary Quinto) volcano suit made of plated copper-toned painted rigid polyurethane and fiberglass adhered to ribbed polyblend fabric consisting of (1) helmet with upper chest plate, (1) full body jumpsuit with Velcro and zipper rear access, and polyvinyl coated accent straps (2) gloves, (2) boots, (1) electrical cord, without power supply, attached to LED lights inside helmet for a display light-up effect. Electrical unit untested, functionality unknown. The costume was meticulously crafted by the studio that created it for the blockbuster Star Trek Into Darkness. This display costume resembles the signature volcano suit used at the beginning of the film by "Spock" while he's attempting to save the humanoid planet of Nibiru with a cold fusion device by rappelling into the heart of a volcano on the verge of eruption. Costume components have been applied to a custom display figure resembling actor Zachary Quinto, standing 80" tall on a 40" x 34" wooden base with a black acrylic cover. Components exhibit production handling and wear including some visible scuffs to inside helmet visor and scratching to body suit. Special third-party shipping arrangements will apply. Acquired directly from Film Illusions Inc. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
