Description

Rue McLanahan "Blanche Devereaux" Red Beaded Gown from The Golden Girls (NBC TV, 1985-1992). "Blanche Devereaux" red Flapper-style gown with "tattered" waist of alternating strips of red chiffon is elaborately adorned with tiny red sequins and features numerous strands of faux pearls and red and silver bugle beads at the waist and arms, red sash, and red stockings, and heavy duty zipper along the front, worn by Rue McLanahan as "Blanche Devereaux" in her season 7, episode 19 song sequence, "I Wanna Be Loved By You". Designed by Judy Evans. It exhibits only minor wear from production use, but remains in very good to fine vintage condition overall.
