Robb Stark (Richard Madden) Red Wedding Coat from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 3). Original (2) piece character ensemble including (1) gray wool coat with woven patterned sleeves and (1) gray wool cloak with 2-brass direwolf clasps. Both articles include "Rob (sic) Stark" bias labels. Robb Stark (Richard Madden) wears this outfit in Season 3, Episode 9, "The Rains of Castamere," after being shot by multiple crossbow bolts as his mother, Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), watches on in horror. Moments later, Robb, his wife, his mother, and his followers are all dead in the event that becomes known as The Red Wedding. Richard Madden described the scene as emotionally exhausting: "I cried my eyes out, completely-as did a lot of the crew and other actors. It was very emotional." David Benioff highlighted the emotional impact, saying, "If we shot The Red Wedding and nobody got emotional, it would be a failure." Dan Weiss added, "It's the kind of thing that hammers home that everybody's life is precious and precarious."
