Description
Power Rangers S.P.D. (BVS Entertainment, 2005), Blue Ranger Hero Costume and Action Accessories. Original (7) piece hero costume including (1) blue resin and fiberglass helmet with acrylic visor and pin closures, (1) blue spandex jumpsuit with black and white geometric details on the front (with "Sky Hero" and "18.9.04" bias labels), (1) silver vinyl belt with dense foam "S.P.D." buckle and holster attachment (with "Blue" bias label), (1) pair of blue leather boots with silver and black foam cuffs (with "SKY HERO" bias labels), (1) pair of white leather gloves with silver and black foam cuffs, (1) articulating Delta Morpher, and (1) dense foam Deltamax Striker component. Helmet measures 10.5" x 10" x 8". Delta Morpher measures 7.5" x 5.5" x 2". All components exhibit production wear, age, and repair including and light soiling. Helmet exhibits minor scratches with evidence of residue. Painted foam components are cracked in areas with chipped paint. Soles have been separated from the boots due to production stressing, age and heavy deterioration of rubber so as to protect the integrity of the spandex components. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. The Power Rangers series used suits, footage, and props from the Japanese Super Sentai show and combined them with its own unique storytelling techniques. Due to the nature of filming, suits worn by the principal cast of their respective Power Rangers seasons will be notated with their names in the title of the lot. For suits worn by the stunt team, we have omitted their names in the titles and indicated them as Hero or Action. There is a mix of stunt performer and main cast names in each costume lot.Auction Info
