Olivia Newton-John "Sandy" (2) Piece Dance Ensemble from Grease (Paramount, 1978). Vintage original (2) piece iconic dress consisting of (1) ivory silk chiffon dress with a bodice of silk with lace embroidery with shoulder straps, featuring a poodle-style skirt, with ivory petticoat underneath, that blossoms from the gathered waist to a calf-length hem, zipper back closure, (1) matching fabric self-belt with artificial flower ornament at the front and hook and eye back closure. Retaining a studio paper laundry tag. Highly visible worn by "Sandy" (Newton-John) during the unforgettable dance competition at the school gymnasium. Exhibiting age, production wear, discoloration to bodice, and general soiling. In vintage Good condition. Provenance: Christie's East, December 20, 1990, lot 103.
