Nolan Miller Designed Wedding Gown for Heather Locklear, 1994. Designed for Heather Locklear's December 1994 wedding to Richie Sambora, this ensemble is composed of a jacket and gown. The gown is in cream lace and satin, has a high-necked lace halter bodice lined in a flesh-toned satin that extends over the hips. The edge of the lace cut to follow the lace design is appliqued to the flared floor length skirt that forms a train. The back center zipper opens to the Nolan Miller Couture label and interior corset with stays, fastened by hooks and eyes. The jacket, in lace over flesh-toned satin, has scalloped edges and long straight sleeves finished at the cuff with six satin-covered buttons and loops. Included is the original marker-and-glitter sketch for the gown, signed "Nolan Miller" and labeled "Heather Locklear". The dress is in Good condition, with the front hem basted during a final fitting. From the Nolan Miller Collection.
