    Description

Nolan Miller Designed Black Lace Gown for Joan Collins. This black lace and net gown has a form-fitting shape to the knee where it flares out to the floor in layers of polka-dotted lace, netting, satin and organdy. The fitted torso of satin over flesh-toned crepe is embellished with black tumbled stones, seed and bugle beads, and flounces of frayed fabric in rosettes. The dropped shoulders are enhanced with applique lace leaves flowing into straight polka-dotted lace sleeves. The center back zipper closure opens to an interior corset with stays and is flanked to the left by the Nolan Miller Couture label. Included is the original marker and glitter sketch for the gown, signed "Nolan Miller" and labeled "Joan". The gown is in Very Good condition. From the Nolan Miller Collection.
