Description
Lyn Osborn "Cadet Happy" (2) Piece Uniform from Space Patrol (ABC, 1950-1955). Vintage original (2) piece Space Patrol uniform (1) red and green stylized side-zippered uniform tunic with snap closures at left shoulder, mandarin collar, padded shoulders and affixed metal "UPSP" (United Planetary Space Patrol) hand painted winged pin affixed to front panel. Retaining internal "Macintosh" maker's bias label, and (1) pair of matching pants with red stripe down outer leg and stirrups at cuffs. Retaining internal "Bekey Uniform" bias label typed, "Cadet Happy, Jan. 15, 1951, Waist 29." A staple of early 1950s Saturday morning kids TV, Space Patrol was also the first regular live West Coast morning network program to be beamed to the East Coast.
