Jungle Fever (Universal, 1991), Samuel L. Jackson "Gator Purify" Chicago Bulls Hat and Red Nike High Top Running Shoes. Original costume pieces including (1) Red Chicago Bulls canvas baseball cap and (1) red pair of leather Nike size 11 "Quantum Force" running shoes. Both costume pieces appear to have been worn by Samuel L. Jackson in his stunning portrayal of the crack-addicted character, Gator Purify in Spike Lee's film. Jackson won the Best Supporting Actor Award in 1991's Cannes Film Festival in this breakout role. Both costume pieces are studio-distressed to reflect Gator's harsh life on the streets. Obtained from Universal Pictures. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
