Ironborn Soldier Ensemble from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 4). Original (9) piece soldier ensemble including (1) 2-piece cuirass with breast and back plate, featuring a leather front panel and long straps that fasten in front, (1) thin leather belt with assorted buckles, (1) heavy floor-length jute cloak with slash at back for arms, (1) thigh high gaiter with strip and Velcro straps, (1) long-sleeved, heavyweight, padded/quilted jerkin, (1) long-sleeved, funnel neck shirt with drawstring fastens, (1) pair of skinny-leg trousers with drawstring waist and waxed cotton, (1) rubber scabbard with integrated sword and leather belt measuring 43" x 9", and (1) black and gold dense rubber shield with molded Kraken sigil relief and leather arm straps. Worn by Yara Greyjoy's (Gemma Whelan) Ironborn soldiers as they attempt to rescue Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) in Season 4, Episode 6, "The Laws of Gods and Men" from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). Ensemble exhibits production wear, oxidation to metal components, paint chipping on shield, and production distressing (including deterioration to cuirass leather, heavy staining, and fabric tearing).
