    Description

    H.B. Warner's Costume Vest from Let Freedom Ring (1939). This dark blue wool vest was worn by Warner in the 1939 musical. An accomplished character actor, Warner is often remembered for his notable appearances in Lost Horizon, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, It's a Wonderful Life, and many others. The vest was obtained at the MGM liquidation sale in 1970 and is in Excellent condition, with an MGM costume label sewn into the interior lining, reading "H.B. Warner" and bearing production number 1075.
