Gold "Sleep Suit" from Episode, "Space Seed" of Star Trek: The Original Series (Paramount TV, 1966-1969). Vintage original 1-piece jumpsuit constructed of gold bullion-threaded, loosely meshed fabric with hook and eye back closure. Worn by one the dormant, genetic superhumans discovered aboard the derelict sleeper ship Botany Bay. This very memorable episode marked the very first appearance of Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban), who would appear in the 1982 fan-favorite feature film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
