Gloria Swanson's Nightgown from Sunset Boulevard. This pink chiffon nightgown was worn by Swanson in Billy Wilder's classic 1950 film noir. Cast as fading, delusional, and possibly psychotic former silent-era film star Norma Desmond, Swanson gave the performance of a lifetime and earned an Academy Award nomination in the process. The gown is in Very Fine condition with a Paramount costume label bearing Swanson's name sewn inside the front. Previously auctioned by Sotheby's in 2002.
