Original (3) piece costume ensemble with (1) black leather jacket with 2-button closure, notch lapels, 1-jetted breast pocket, 2-waistline pockets, and black satin lining, (1) navy-blue wool long-sleeved polo shirt with 3-button closure, and (1) pair of black wool dress pants with hook-and-eye and button closure. Retains original wardrobe department tags reading, "Chili Palmer / CH#8 / SC # 59-62 / Set Ext. Hotel / Leos Room", in black felt-tip. Lot is accompanied by an original press release packet for the movie containing 13-production stills and 1-costume continuity sheet. John Travolta returned to the limelight in this spoof of the Hollywood industry as mobster turned Hollywood producer Chili Palmer, who collaborates with Harry Zimm (Gene Hackman) to get his story on the big screen. This ensemble appears when Chili confronts Leo Devoe (David Paymer) for a $500,000 debt payment. Items exhibit production age and handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
