Original character ensemble including (1) leather cassock with chainmail and metal-plated overlay with center front lace-up closure, (1) pair of brown moleskin trousers with leather placket laced fly and leather-bound waistband, (1) leather belt with attached scabbard and attached dagger sheath, (1) action sword measuring 41" x 9", studio-crafted of high-density rubber, brass pommel and snakeskin handle, and (1) action dagger measuring 15.5" x 2", studio-crafted from high-density rubber. King Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) wears this ensemble in Season 2, Episode 1, "The North Remembers" when he declares himself the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and pledges to take King's Landing by any means necessary. "This costume was designed to embody Stannis's rigid and formidable personality," said Michele Clapton, the show's costume designer. "The combination of leather, chainmail, and metal plating gives it a weight and authenticity that reflects his uncompromising nature." Stephen Dillane noted, "Wearing this ensemble truly helped me get into character. The weight and design of the costume made Stannis's presence on screen even more imposing."
