    Description

Ernie Kovacs' EEFMS Club Necktie. The EEFMS -- Early Eyeball Fraternal and Marching Society, to you non-initiates -- was the name of the television club created during the last months of Ernie Kovacs' early '50s TV show 3 to Get Ready in Philadelphia. This EEFMS tie was owned and worn by Kovacs on the show, kept as a memento by him, and comes directly from his personal estate. The tie is in Fine to Very Fine condition with areas of color loss due to aging, and is accompanied by Edie Adams' newspaper clipping from the April 7, 1968, Philadelphia Sunday Bulletin that features a photo of Kovacs wearing the tie. A truly unique item. Accompanied by a hardcover copy of Edie Adams' autobiography, Sing a Pretty Song. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive.
