Description
Emerald City Jacket with Munchkin Soldier Pants from The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). Adrian-designed vintage original dark teal felt short jacket with Kelly green and ivory accents along front with three large self-material buttons encircled with wooden beads. Hook and eye closure. Internal Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer label handwritten with faded production information with illegible name. Included is a pair of Munchkin Soldier pants crafted of crème felt with light green stripe alongside the legs. Interior bias label handwritten "Elmer St. Aubin" (Parnell Elmer St. Aubin), with original elastic suspenders marked in ink, "Elmer St. Aubin 24"". Jacket exhibits expected age with spotting and minor tearing in fabric. Pants exhibit age, spotting, soiling and scattered moth holes. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
