Edie Adams' The Best Man Screen-Worn Galanos Gown. This gown was seen in Gore Vidal's 1964 film The Best Man, as well as on air in a 1963 episode of Here's Edie. Designed by James Galanos, this cream crepe de chine gown with a straight scooped neck and 3/4 length sleeves is embellished with embroidered and beaded flowers and beaded pendant drops that swing with every step. Impeccably finished inside and out, this piece is in Very Fine condition and is accompanied by a framed photo (from Edie's personal collection) of her wearing the dress, alongside Best Man co-star Cliff Richardson.
