Edie Adams Screen Worn Swimsuit. Edie Adams, originally known as Edythe Adams, got her start in show biz in 1950, winning the title Miss WPIX and then going on to be chosen Miss U.S. Television wearing this black satin strapless swimsuit with back zipper. The prizes included an appearance with Milton Berle and as she later recalled "I was permitted to sing so long as I wore a bathing suit." This appearance in turn led to an invitation to appear with the comedian, her future husband, Ernie Kovacs. Serving her well as she broke into show business, the swimsuit is in Fine condition, the cup filling is desiccating with some pressure pulls along the waist. Accompanying the lot are swimsuit-clad images of Edie, the original accompanying card board sign "Miss U.S. Television c/o WPIX New York 17" and a hardcover copy of Edie Adams' autobiography, Sing a Pretty Song. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
