Description
Edie Adams' Screen-Worn Dress from the Final Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour (1960). Having been designed by Don Loper and worn by Edie Adams on the final episode of The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour in 1960, this iconic dress has everything going for it. "That's All" was her song of choice accompanied by Vivian Vance at the piano, and what a prophetic choice it was... The tension between Lucy and Desi on the show was palpable by this point (a mere year before their divorce). The episode, "Lucy Meets the Mustache" was a great one nonetheless, with the typical Lucy hijinks, crossed wires, and a kiss with Desi before the credits rolled. This beautiful creation in corded brown lace over flesh color lining is finished with a full detachable over skirt of brown chiffon and matching belt. Simply put, that's all you could want in a piece of television history! Accompanied by a hardcover copy of Edie Adams' autobiography, Sing a Pretty Song. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive.
