Edie Adams' Screen-Worn Costumes, Including an Edith Head Design. Includes two of Edie's screen-worn costumes, the first a Rudi Gernreich suit comprising a three-button jacket with cuffed sleeve and straight skirt in red and white woven plaid, the jacket worn by Edie on the 1962 Bob Hope TV Special (in which she sang with Bing Crosby), as well as multiple magazine covers. The second piece is a fuchsia knit dress with a crocheted collar, designed by Edith Head, that Edie wore as Trina Yale in the 1966 movie The Oscar. Both costumes are in Very Good condition with an even yellowing to the white ground of the plaid. Included with this lot is the cover of the October 20-26, 1962 Chicago Tribune TV Week, showing Edie in the plaid jacket, and a photo dated September 10, 1965 with Edie, flower in mouth, wearing the fuchsia dress. Accompanied by a hardcover copy of Edie Adams' autobiography, Sing a Pretty Song. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive.
