Dirk Benedict "Starbuck" (3) Piece Ivory Colonial Warrior Uniform from Battlestar Galactica (ABC TV, 1978-1979). Vintage original futuristic (3) piece costume consisting of (1) quilted-bib, ivory cotton tunic with ivory braid and checkerboard ribbon piping at the collar and cuffs, a bias Velcro panel front closure, (1) pair of matching velour breeches with split cuff, tie stirrups and zipper front closure, (1) ivory canvas jacket with ivory chamois shoulder pads, "Viper Pilot" insignia patch affixed to right shoulder, 2-"Viper Pilot" crew pins at the collar, piping accents at seams, and 4-unique, white painted push-button metal buckle fasteners for front closure. Tunic retains costumers internal bias label handwritten "D. Benedict", jacket interior is handwritten, "D. Benedict," and breeches retain bias label handwritten, "Benedict W30." Costume exhibits minor age and production wear. In vintage Very Good to Fine condition. Accompanied by a detailed LOA from Costume Designer Jean-Pierre Dorleac.
