Danny Kaye Quick-Change Ensemble from The Danny Kaye Show (CBS TV, 1963-1967). Danny Kaye gray wool double-breasted white and yellow pinstripe suit jacket with matching gray wool pinstripe pants that have been sewn to a beige sleeveless shirt, integral tie and featuring a rear-mounted heavy-duty zipper that allowed the actor to quickly change costumes backstage during one of his frenetic The Danny Kaye Show sequences. The jacket is lined in silver satin and includes a white cloth pocket square and faux rose boutonniere. It bears an internal Western Costume Co. label. The jacket and pants exhibit some tiny moth holes and the shirt shoulders and collar exhibit some light toning from age and production use, several small tears to the lining, and faint stains to the pants, but remains in Very Good to Fine condition Acquired from the Danny Kaye estate.
