Battle for the Planet of the Apes Screen-Worn Chimpanzee Costume. This screen-worn female chimpanzee costume was worn by Natalie Trundy as Lisa in Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973), the final entry in the Planet Of The Apes saga. Female chimpanzee costumes from this series are very rare and this is a complete featured outfit that includes a khaki green tunic with brown leather around the front upper chest and neck areas, with burlap material under the front of the sleeves. A brown floor-length skirt and a pair of brown "ape boots", complete the costume. Also included is a mannequin body which has been customized with a silicon chimpanzee character head molded to look like Lisa, based on the original ape molds designed for Trundy. The head is detailed with hand-punched human hair and prosthetic-grade glass eyes. A pair of rubber hands covered with human hair completes the display. The costume and mannequin are both in overall Very Fine condition. Requires third party shipping from Beverly Hills.
