Batman Forever (Warner Bros., 1995), Val Kilmer "Batman" Sonar Armor Cape. Original sonar armor cape constructed of leather-like textured latex with a navy blue sheen finish and black neckline, fitted with bisecting raised seamlines to create a 3D batwing look, black latex inner lining, pointed scalloped hems, 2-metal rings along the neckline attached by metal fasteners to secure the cape to cowl, 2-punched holes in the neckline meant for metal hook closure, 3-triangular Velcro patches along the neckline to attach the cowl, and interior black mesh lining across the back of the neck with 2-elastic loops and 1-hook-and-loop contour cut strip made of neoprene foam latex to secure cape to suit. After all the Batsuits are destroyed by the Riddler (Jim Carrey) and Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones), only one remains for Batman (Val Kilmer) to suit up in and end the dastardly duo's evil escapades: the prototype Sonar suit. Exhibits production age and wear, with noticeable adhesive residue along exterior neckline. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
