Backdraft (Universal, 1991), William Baldwin "Brian McCaffrey" Fire Helmet. Original Cairns-style polymer composite stunt firefighter's helmet with functional, flip-down acrylic eye protection, neck guard, six neon yellow reflectors, nylon chin strap and a firehouse shield reading: "Candidate/ Chicago/ 17." Character name has been stenciled on the underside of the neck guard reading, "MC CAFFREY / 5551," with interior manufacturer's labels in interior of the helmet with taped labels reading, "Stunts / Long Chin Strap," in handwritten ink. The helmet is worn by Brian McCaffrey (William Baldwin), who aspires to follow in his father's and brother's footsteps by becoming a firefighter in Chicago. Prop exhibits production wear, some scratches, and slightly peeling decals. Obtained from Imagine Films. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
