Description

Anne Lockhart "Lt. Sheba" Colonial Warrior Costume from Battlestar Galactica (ABC, 1978-1979). Vintage original Warrior costume including (1) quilted-bib, tan velour tunic with gold braid and checkerboard ribbon piping at the collar and cuffs, 2-gold "Viper Pilot" pins on collar and a bias Velcro panel front closure, (1) pair of matching breeches with split cuff, tie stirrups and zipper front closure, (1) brown polyester chamois jacket with brown suede shoulder pads, "Viper Pilot" insignia patch affixed to right shoulder, 2-"Viper Pilot" crew pins at the collar, piping accents at seams, and 4-unique push-button gold metal buckle fasteners for front closure, (1) grommeted black web belt with brown hard brass buckle fastener, (1) brown wide leather belt with large brass hook-buckle, (1) pair of black leather knee-boots handwritten, "10" and "J. Johnson" in black ink. Interior of tunic is handwritten, "A. Lockhart" at the collar, "Anne Lockhart" below the collar, and inside the front flap closure is signed and inscribed, "To Roger, this is really mine! Anne Lockhart." Also retains the Roger Sides Galactica Archives inkstamp. Jacket interior is handwritten, "Meren Jensen" (mislabeled according to the LOA and actually Lockhart's). Breeches have handwritten "26" and retain the Roger Sides Galactica Archives inkstamp on interior waistband. Leather belt is handwritten "34" and retains the Roger Sides Galactica Archives inkstamp. Costume exhibits minor age and production wear. Boots exhibit age wear and heavy deterioration in Fair condition. All else in vintage Very Good to Fine condition. Accompanied by a detailed LOA from expert and historian Rob Klein. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
