An Uma Thurman Costume from the Woody Allen Film "Sweet and Lowdown." Sweetland Films, 1999. A beautiful black satin Chinese-style robe, calf-length, colorful ornate trim on collar, cuffs, and hem, frog closure at top front, label reads "Schneeman / Studio, Ltd. / New York;" with a matching floor-length skirt, same label as robe; further included with a small black velvet pillbox hat also with ornate trim; worn by the star as she portrayed "Blanche" in the scene where she first takes notes on "Emmet Ray" [Sean Penn] in the multiple award-nominated Woody Allen film.
