An Orson Welles Louis Vuitton Alzer Hardback Suitcase, Circa 1950s. With the classic brown and gold "LV" monogram pattern, leather trim further stamped with continuous "LV"s, inside label reads in part "Louis Vuitton / 7325," three brass hinges stamped in part "Louis Vuitton;" purchased at the Louis Vuitton store in Paris in the mid-1950s, this piece traveled the world with the actor and his family for over two decades; included with a letter from Beatrice Welles indicating she consigned this lot directly to Heritage Auctions. (Please note this suitcase is in heavily worn condition due to years of use; the inside cloth lining is water-stained and further dirtied.)
