Description
An Elizabeth Taylor Wig from "Cleopatra." 20th Century Fox, 1963. Made by famed international wigmaker to the stars, Stanley Hall; authentic straight black human hair, blue and gold ribbon sewn along the crown, styled with very short bangs, shoulder-length blunt cut, added braids with gold cord decor on the ends, further adorned with braid-like cords; two labels sewn inside the interior netting, the first reads "Wig Creations Ltd. 7274," the second has a small handwritten annotation in black fountain pen ink reading "Elizabeth Taylor 21 1/2;" displayed on a vintage wig stand with a ribbon around the base reading "Max Factor Hollywood;" made for the star as the title character, though possibly not seen in the finished version of the film. (Please note hair is somewhat disheveled and the stand is slightly stained due to age.)Hair Length: 13"
