Description

An Elizabeth Taylor Wig from "Cleopatra." 20th Century Fox, 1963. Made of authentic dark brown human hair by famed international wigmaker to the stars, Stanley Hall; styled in a long bob with bangs and numerous braids which are adorned with gold-colored beads and coils; two labels sewn inside the interior netting; the first reads "Wig Creations Ltd. 7725" and the second has a small handwritten annotation reading "Elizabeth Taylor 21 1/2;" worn by the star as she portrayed the title character in the scene that takes place in Rome where she tries to convince Caesar [Rex Harrison] to accept supreme control of the empire, and much to her shock, Mark Antony [Richard Burton] agrees with her. (Please note the original binding on the top part of wig is now somewhat damaged due to age and some of the braids need to be repaired.)
