An Elizabeth Taylor Fancy Jacket and Boots, 1992. The jacket a couture piece made specifically for the star (possibly by Gianni Versace, though no designer label is evident), rendered in black leather with simulated 'fish scales' covering entire surface, further adorned with elaborate, heavy, rhinestones and beads forming a koi-fish-and-lily-pad-flower design, zip-up front closure, lined in purple satin; together with a pair of matching black leather 'fish scale' knee-high boots, inside label reads "DiFabrizio...Los Angeles;" worn by Taylor at her 60th birthday party celebration which took place at Disneyland on February 27, 1992. (Please note a 'fish eye' bead has come unglued from jacket but is still included with lot.)

    These items were originally sold in the Christie's (New York) auction titled "The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor," Sale 2629, December 3, 2011, Lot 1644, final price realized was $7,200; original Christie's lot tags still affixed.
