    A Walter Matthau Group of Hats, Circa 1960s-1970s.
    Four total including: 1) a black felt one with a black ribbon hatband, two inside stamps read "Lock & Co. / Hatters / St. James's Street / London," further stamp on leather lining reads "Made in England / Specially For / J. Press Inc. / New Haven," no size evident; 2) a black felt one with a black ribbon hatband, inside stamp on leather lining reads "John B. Stetson / Company / 3x Beaver / Stetson, size 7 1/2; 3) a tan felt one with a black ribbon hatband, inside stamp same as hat #1, further stamp on leather lining reads "Made in Italy / By / Gucci," no size evident, and 4) a beige felt one with a black ribbon hatband, stamp on leather lining same as hat #1, second stamp reads "Made in England / for / Brooks Brothers / size 7 3/8;" all owned and worn by the actor with some (or all) possibly used in films. (Please note there is various wear to all but general condition is still good.)

    Included with a "Letter of Provenance" signed by Charlie Matthau, son of Walter Matthau.
