    A Vivien Leigh Costume Design Sketch Signed by Walter Plunkett from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Gouache and pencil on illustration board, depicting the actress as "Scarlett O'Hara" in the costume she wears in numerous scenes as she returns to Tara after the war, fabric swatch glued to the upper right corner, typed text (from the actual novel) on the lower margin reads "Scarlett / lavender calico dress, p. 321 / unbuttoned her basque halfway down her / bosom p. 370 / Melanie's black mourning bonnet and it did not fit / Scarlett's head p. 382" (see Lot 89004), signed in the lower right corner "Plunkett."
