    Description

A Thumb Holster from "The Expendables," "The Expendables 2," and "The Expendables 3." Lionsgate, 2010, 2012, 2014. Black leather, sterling silver 'skull head' logo at base of strap, silver-colored metal snaps and buckle, designed by 'Good Art Hlywd' (though not marked as such); used by Stallone as "Barney Ross." (Please note this piece is in worn condition and there is minor loss to the blue plastic lining.)

"The reason for this piece is the fact that, one month before filming, I injured my thumb severely while training. Rather than cancel the movie since I couldn't hold a gun or a knife firmly, we invented this thumb guard which I worked into the character's look. It actually turned out to be one of those quote, "good accidents," end quote. And I ended up wearing thumb holsters continuously throughout all three Expendables films."
