    A Shirley Temple Riding Costume from "Just Around the Corner." 20th Century Fox, 1938. Comprising six pieces: 1) a white cotton shirt, long sleeves, five button front closure, collarless, label reads "ST / Pesterre's / Importers / Beverly Hills;" 2) a gray wool vest, peaked lapels, two front flap pockets, four button front closure, Pesterre's label reads "Miss Shirley Temple / 4-18-38 / No. 2248;" 3) a white cotton cravat; 4) a black wool blazer, peaked lapels, single-breasted, two button front closure, two front flap pockets, Pesterre's label; 5) a pair of off-white wool jodhpurs with attached suspenders; and 6) a black felt riding hat, inside stamped in part "Stetson / Made Expressly For / Pesterre's / Beverly Hills, Cal.;" all worn by the star as "Penny;" included with a COA signed by Charles Black, Jr., Shirley's son. (Please note the shirt is yellowed and there are a few moth holes in the pants.)

    This costume originally sold in the Theriault's (Kansas City, MO) auction titled "Love, Shirley Temple," July 14, 2015, Lot 59, final price realized unknown.
