    A Sean Penn Three-Piece Period Suit from the Woody Allen Film "Sweet and Lowdown." Sweetland Films, 1999. A full ensemble including: 1) a beige linen blazer, single-breasted, three large frontal pockets, pleated back with half self-belt, inside, label reads "Paul Changs / Custom / Tailor / House / Chicago, Ill.;" 2) a matching vest, four front welt pockets, five button front closure, beige satin back; 3) a pair of matching trousers, button fly, cuffed hems, label reads "Emmet;" 4) a brown and white striped cotton dress shirt, long sleeves, seven button front closure, label similar to jacket; and 5) a black leather pair of suspenders; worn by the actor as "Emmet Ray" in the extended sequence where he follows "Blanche" [Uma Thurman] and "Al Torrio" [Anthony LaPaglia] to confront them about their affair; interestingly, Penn was nominated for a 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' Oscar for his work in this film but he lost out to Kevin Spacey for "American Beauty."
