A Patrick Stewart Three-Piece Suit from "X-Men 2." 20th Century Fox, 2003. Made of wool, grey and blue pinstriped, jacket single-breasted, one button front closure, three frontal pockets, label reads "Dominic Gherardi / Custom Tailoring / Patrick Stewart / June 2002;" matching vest with two front welt pockets, three button front closure, electric blue satin back, same label as jacket; matching trousers, flat front, side pockets, also with same label as jacket; worn by the actor as he portrayed "Professor Charles Xavier" in the scene where he and the X-Men interrupt the President's televised address to the nation to give him an important file; included with a letter from Sir Patrick Stewart indicating he consigned this lot directly to Heritage Auctions.

Mr. Stewart relays a funny story about this suit: because his character is in a wheelchair, he said this costume was custom-made to look great on him while he was sitting down only; the second he stood up, it looked quite awkward.
