DescriptionA Pair of Cavalry Riding Boots from "The Undefeated." 20th Century Fox, 1969. Made of black leather, knee-high, simple stitched detail on top of shaft, wooden spur ridge on back of heel, resoled later; worn by Wayne in the film; Wayne likely wore these boots in other cavalry films such as "The Horse Soldiers" from 1959 or "Rio Lobo" from 1970 and he may have even used them as early as 1948-1950 in John Ford's 'Cavalry Trilogy' but because the boots were re-soled, it is impossible to know for certain.
