    A John Wayne-Related 'Red River D' Reproduction Sterling Silver Belt Buckle by Bohlin, Circa 1980s. Rectangular in shape, with a 'rope' trim and details reading "Red River" and "1946," hallmark on back reads "Edward H. Bohlin / Hollywood, Cal. / Sterling" -- the celebrated Los Angeles silversmith and saddlemaker to the stars.

    This belt buckle is a modern-day replica of the one made famous by John Wayne who received his from director Howard Hawks after the two made the 1948 United Artists film, "Red River." Wayne loved his so much that he wore it in countless films for the next thirty years.
