    A Jerry James Period Military Costume from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Jacket made of slate blue wool, red wool collar and cuffs, gold piping on collar, nine gold button front closure, back with decorative red piping and six of the same gold buttons, 'Western Costume Co.' label reads in part "20150 / Maxwell Clark," further 'W.C.C.' stamp on lining; together with beige wool military pants, red stripe down either leg, 'W.C.C.' label reads in part "2101-3" (pants possibly from a different uniform); worn by the extra actor Jerry James in the 'Atlanta Bazaar' dancing scene where he appears on far screen left when "Rhett Butler" [Clark Gable] and "Scarlett O'Hara" go swirling by on far screen right; obtained directly from The Estate of Jerry James in Palm Springs. (Please note there is a long tear on the right leg.)
